Meet our key team members and our candidates who are taking on the SNP and the Holyrood establishment in May 2021.

John serves as the Party Leader. Based in Glasgow, he graduated with an MA (Hons) in History and Politics from Glasgow University and now works as a graphic designer.

John previously organised the shock defeat of the SNP by A Better Britain - Unionist Party in the September 2017 Fortissat-by election, North Lanarkshire.

He co-founded Abolish the Scottish Parliament Party to unite anti-devolution unionists under a single banner for the May 2021 Holyrood elections.

Abolish the Scottish Parliament Party is contesting all eight list regions at this May’s Scottish parliamentary election. This means that all Scots will have the first opportunity to vote against the expensive, divisive, failed devolution experiment since Blair’s 1997 referendum. Almost a quarter of a century on from the ’97 referendum, it is now time to judge devolution on its record.

Our lead candidates for each region are as follows:

Jack Malcolm (Highlands and Islands)

Callum Buchanan (North East Scotland)

Ian Mann (Mid Scotland and Fife)

John Leckie (Lothian)

John Ferguson (South Scotland)

John Mortimer (Central Scotland)

James Dunsmore (Glasgow)

Robert Watson (West Scotland)
